Join us on campus for our second annual LEAD (Leadership, Education and Development) Retreat! If you are interested in leadership, getting involved at Laurier, and connecting with your new classmates, this is the summer event for you.
LEAD will take place on Saturday, July 27 (Waterloo) and Sunday, July 28 (Brantford). Join us on campus for a jam-packed day of workshops, team building activities, and fun in the sun. Milton students...join us on your (brand new!) campus for a half-day retreat on August 8!

Our Summer Webinar Series aims to keep you informed all summer long! Registration is required for each webinar and a recording of the webinar will be posted to this page the following day. Students and their parents and supporters are welcome at the webinars.
In this webinar we’ll cover important study permit information, what you need to know about arriving in Canada, budgeting for life in Ontario and more! We will also save time to hear from two current international students about their transition to university and experience at Laurier!

If so, please join us for a live webinar hosted by Accessible Learning. Gain insights into how high school and university learning systems differ, how to register with Accessible Learning and what documentation you’ll need, and answers to lots of popular questions covering topics like funding, privacy, and Laurier's approach to individualized accommodation planning.

University is expensive, and there are plenty of financial resources to support you. In this webinar you will learn more about OSAP including eligibility, timelines, and how to apply. We'll also cover applying for Laurier scholarships, awards, and bursaries, including information about the student profile forms and important deadlines you don't want to miss. Finally, we will cover some information about on-campus jobs, and other financial supports we offer, such as financial coaching and the money management program. Students and their parents and supporters are welcome to attend this webinar.

In our first check-in of the year, we're meeting with Wellness Education to chat about impostor syndrome: what it is, how it sounds, and how to navigate it. After all, no matter what you are experiencing in university, we're here to remind you that you don't have to go through it alone!
