Functional Knowledge

  • Solve real-world problems in financial mathematics and risk management using appropriate mathematical and statistical software.
  • Develop a knowledge of finance, investing and risk management combined with rigorous mathematical modeling and analytical techniques utilized for problem solving.
  • Identify and analyze ethical issues in a business context and understand global issues affecting business management and performance.
  • Learn to understand and interpret the world using mathematical models and how to effectively reveal and explain patterns using numerical information.
