Congratulations and welcome, Golden Hawk! From the time you accept your offer until the first week of classes and beyond, we're here for you. 

Laurier 101 is a campus-wide program that provides exclusive content to you and your supporters to prepare you for the time you'll spend at Laurier both inside and outside of the classroom.

We'll assist you with the course registration process, show you how to navigate the world of remote learning and help you understand what it's like to be a student in the Laurier community. Stay connected and stay golden as you prepare. We're so excited to meet you.

September Checklist

 Install Microsoft Office 365 for students (free).

  Fill out the Student Self-ID Form.

Each week, the First-Year Peer Academic Coaches will offer 2 workshops designed to help you develop academic skills and strategies. You may attend as many workshops as you would like throughout the term. Register for an upcoming workshop!

First-Year Peer Academic Coaches offer peer-to-peer support to help you navigate the transition to university. Connect with a coach to help you build a study schedule, discuss note-taking methods, learn effective study strategies and more! Book an appointment now!

Get Stuff Done Sessions

We all have stuff to get done, but sometimes it's hard to find the motivation to get started - that's why we have Get Stuff Done Sessions! Join First-Year Peer Academic Coaches and your peers at the same-time-same-place every week to stay accountable and get to work.

Prepare for Classes

For many students, transitioning to learning at a university can be a big change whether you are coming directly from high school, transferring from another college or university, or getting back to academics after some time away. There are many academic supports and services to help you transition to your new learning environment. 

Academic Preparation Certificate

Are you looking for a way to start strong and prepare ahead of beginning classes in September? Upgrade your study skills, brush up on academic writing techniques, and learn about the importance of Academic Integrity on your way to becoming a successful university student. The Academic Preparation Certificate is available to all incoming students and includes a collection of modules and activities to help you get ready for your academic life at university. 

Kickstart 2021/22 with O-Week

This year's O-Week will be Sept. 6 to 11. O-Week at Laurier is a long-standing tradition that kick-starts your time as a Golden Hawk.

Join us for a week filled with events, sessions and experiences that will help you meet new people, discover new opportunities, prepare for your academics, and much more.

Course Registration

Prepare for registration. View a course registration webinar recording, review the Course Registration Guide, and create your class schedule.


Register for your Fall and Winter term courses. Registration opened for first year students on June 21.
