Visit Laurier’s Hawk Shop for customer appreciation day Jan. 25
The Hawk Shop at Wilfrid Laurier University, formerly called Laurier Bookstore in Waterloo and Stedman Community Bookstore in Brantford, is hosting a customer appreciation day at both campuses on Thursday, Jan. 25. Customers can enjoy treats and save the tax on regular-priced clothing, giftware and stationery.
“This is our way of thanking students, staff and faculty for their support as we rebranded both stores, changed the layout and updated merchandise categories this summer and fall,” says the Hawk Shop’s director Mike Zybala. “We invite everyone to come by and check out the changes.”
“We’re excited about the rebrand because it better reflects our identity, what we offer, and our connection with the Laurier community in Waterloo and Brantford,” says Hawk Shop marketing specialist Chad Lorentz.
The Hawk Shop in Waterloo is located inside the Dr. Alvin Woods Building in the Concourse. It is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed weekends).
In Brantford, the Hawk Shop is located inside the Research and Academic Centre (RAC) in the campus’s west wing. It is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed weekends). The university is working on plans to relocate the Hawk Shop. Until that time, signage for the Stedman Community Bookstore will remain in place. In recognition of the generous and critical support of the Stedman Family to the Brantford campus, Laurier is proud to carry forward the Stedman Family name with the naming of the Stedman Family Lobby, located in RAC West.
