Convocation and Graduation

Convocation ceremonies are currently postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When it is safe to gather in large groups, ceremonies will hosted at Laurier’s Brantford and Waterloo campuses.

The convocation team will guide you through the process of graduation. Convocation ceremony information is communicated via your myLaurier account.

Complete Your Degree

Graduation refers to successfully completing the degree/diploma requirements of your program.

Celebrate Your Successes

Convocation is a ceremony to celebrate our graduates with their families. We host ceremonies to celebrate the completion of your hard work in Waterloo and Brantford.

Spring 2021 Ceremony

Due to the global health crisis COVID-19, the university has decided to not hold in-person spring convocation ceremonies this June. This will allow us to hold a celebration in-person so that you, our graduating students, can celebrate together with your families, friends and the rest of the Laurier community when it is safe to do so.
