Your Guide to Crossing the Stage

You must apply to graduate regardless of whether you intend to participate in the scheduled ceremony event.

We celebrate this achievement when you cross that stage on convocation day!

Step One:
Apply to Graduate

Once you apply to graduate, you'll be sent further information about the scheduled ceremony event.

Step Two:
Prepare for Convocation

Consult our preparation checklist for your next steps from now until the day of your ceremony. 

Step Three:
Attend the Ceremony

Your big day! Find out the date and time of your ceremony and how to get your guest tickets.

Be Our Guest

Be a part of your Laurier student's big day! Students can have up to two guests attend their convocation ceremony.

If you cannot attend the ceremony in person, you can stream the ceremony on Laurier Live.

Looking Ahead

Our fall convocation ceremonies will take place October 12 - 13 in Waterloo and November 1 in Brantford. 

Students who have applied to graduate can expect an invitation to their @mylaurier.ca email during summer 2023 for their ceremony.
