Determining if a student may progress to the next year of the program:
- For BBA progression students require a 7.0 BU GPA. This GPA is calculated using any courses that begin with a BU, including any BU electives (third and fourth year only). Required courses that do not begin with a BU (e.g. EC120, EC255) are not included in the BU GPA.
- For BBA progression students require a 5.0 Non-BU GPA. This GPA is calculated using any courses that do not begin with a BU, but includes required courses (such as EC120 or MA129), along with electives.
- The overall GPA must also be 5.0.
- Any course with a grade of ‘F’ needs to be included in the GPA calculation unless it has been repeated.
- If a course is repeated then the grade from the second attempt will be included in the GPA calculation, regardless of whether it is higher or lower than the first attempt.
