Ron Daniels, program coordinator for the Science Maker Lab, is a former process engineer with decades of making experience across a number of disciplines and an MBA from here at Laurier. His creations have sold in over 20 countries. He is the primary mentorship resource for the Science Maker Lab and will recruit and coordinate expert mentors tailored to the specific needs of your project.
The Science Maker Lab is also staffed by a group of up to four part-time student lab assistants. These highly capable and highly trained students expand the teaching capacity of the lab and allow the lab to be open hours beyond the normal 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, subject to their availability. They thrive on sharing their knowledge with other students and helping them along with their projects. They also graduate every so often, so keep your eyes open for the job postings!
