Directed Homework Sessions (100-level Math courses)

To get in the habit of doing your homework and to practice good learning strategies, come out to our weekly homework sessions (a modified form of Supplemental Instruction).

A senior student will act as faciliator to provide structure to each 1.5 hour session, incorporating cumulative review, study techniques and time to work on current homework problems. It's a great way to keep up-to-date on course work and to deepen your understanding of concepts as they are covered in class – no cramming the night before your midterm. 

Fall 2026

Directed homework sessions are planned for the following courses.

On campus sessions for Waterloo students taking (tentatively):  MA100, MA102, MA103, MA122, MA123, and MA129.
