About Residence Meal Plans
Residence meal plans are subject to HST exemptions as set out by Revenue Canada guidelines. Residence students on mandatory meal plans will not incur tax for on-campus food purchases.
By agreement between Wilfrid Laurier University and the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union, all residence students will pay a levy on their meal plan. These funds will be used to assist with capital upgrades to the food services operations.
You can request to change your plan up until Sept. 30, by emailing onecard@wlu.ca. After Sept. 30, the plans are locked in for the academic year. Dormitory and apartment meal plans are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you have a remaining balance on your OneCard Flex dollar account (April 30) these funds will rollover to the next academic year.
If you have any questions in regards to the residence meal plans, contact laurierfoodservices@wlu.ca.
*Prices include a $50 levy for All Access Plans and a $20 levy for the Apartment Meal Plan. Levy fees support any project intended to enhance the student dining experience.
