Accounts and Security
Throughout your time at Laurier, you'll use a number of accounts to support your academic experience such as:
- Microsoft 365 applications (productivity suites) such as MS Outlook (email), MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Student Information Systems (SIS) such as Loris, MyLearningSpace, Zoom, SAFEHawk App, Navigator, Library Course Reserves, and Qualtrics.
Username and Password
Your Laurier username is your Laurier email address (e.g., abcd1234@mylaurier.ca).
If you have never changed your Laurier password before, then your default password is your date of birth in the format of MMDDYYYY.
If you require a password reset, see the Passwords page for self-service password reset (SSPR).
MyLaurier Email
When you are accepted to Laurier, a student email is automatically created for you. You do not need to create an email.
Logging in to Email
- Go to https://outlook.office.com.
- Enter your full Laurier email address.
- Click “Next.”
- Enter your Laurier password.
- Verify your sign-in using the multi-factor authentication (MFA) method you registered for.
Alumni Access
When you graduate from Laurier, you will still have access to your @mylaurier.ca email address.
If you are an alumni of Laurier and haven't logged into your account in over two years, your Laurier account maybe deactivated due to lack of activity. To regain access to your account, please submit the Student Account Reactivation Request Form.
After submitting the reactivation request, your submission will be sent to ICT and we will reactivate your account within 5 business days.
MyLearningSpace
You can access MyLearningSpace by going to mylearningspace.wlu.ca.
