Deadline Jan. 28: Enter SSHRC's Storytellers contest
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) is challenging postsecondary students to show Canadians how social sciences and humanities research affects our lives and our world.
Its eighth annual Storytellers contest offers graduate and undergraduate students at Canadian postsecondary institutions the chance to win one of 25 $3,000 cash prizes and specialized training in research communications. Five final winners will further receive an expense-paid trip for their presentations to be featured at the prestigious SSHRC Impact Awards in Ottawa.
All you have to do is tell the story, in a three-minute video or audio clip or 300-word text or infographic, of a SSHRC-funded research project – your own or a professor’s.
The deadline to enter is January 28, 2020. See the full contest rules and guidelines.
