Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA) Competition

Universities Canada has announced the launch of its 2019 Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA) Competition, open to all students!

The deadline to submit your design is April 30, 2019 at 5 p.m.

If you have an IDeA that addresses barriers in society within one of three streams, you could win up to $5,000.

• Stream 1: Attitudinal and/or Systemic Barriers
• Stream 2: Architectural / Industrial Design Barriers
• Stream 3: Technological / Communication Barriers

With your stream submission, you or your team could win:

3rd Place (three winners): $1,000
2nd Place (three winners): $1,500
or
1st Place (three winners): $5,000 and presenting your IDeA at an innovation or accessibility themed conference!
