English Language Learners
We welcome all students for writing support regardless of their levels of English-language proficiency. Our team will work with you on issues related to types of writing assignments, standards of university writing, grammar and vocabulary development, and citation techniques. If you have any questions about English language support, email Writing Centre (Waterloo) or Writing and Study Skills Services (Brantford).
Our extensive collection of resources provides English language learners with important information about academic writing.

We are pleased to welcome Guanglong (Zack) Pang to our tutoring staff for the 2016/17 academic year. Zack worked with the Writing Centre in 2015/16 as a student assistant from the International Student Work Experience Program (ISWEP). Zack is an international student from China who is entering his fourth year at Laurier in the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Studies. We encourage English language learners to make writing appointments with Zack this year.
Writing and Study Skills Services (Brantford) offers support to English language learners at the Laurier Brantford campus in the form of consultations, peer language support and writing resources. If you have any questions about English language support, please contact us.
