Police Investigate Ezra Ave. Street Party

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an incident where furniture was set on fire during an unlawful street gathering in Waterloo earlier this week.
On Monday, September 2, 2019, at approximately 10 p.m., members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, Waterloo Fire Department, Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services, and Wilfrid Laurier University Special Constable Service, responded to the area of Ezra Avenue and Clayfield Avenue after receiving reports of large crowds gathered in the area.
During the unlawful gathering, furniture was used to start a fire on Ezra Avenue. The fire was extinguished by Waterloo Fire Department and there were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.
