COVID-19 and unsanctioned street gatherings

To all Laurier students,

With the known and rapidly growing global risks of COVID-19, we want to be explicit — going to Ezra Avenue in Waterloo or participating in other unsanctioned public gatherings to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is irresponsible.

We are committed to the well-being of our student population and would like everyone to prioritize the health of their friends, families, and our broader communities.
