Bachelor of Education

Note: Registration opens June 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. You will receive a registration package by email in May explaining which courses you need to register for.

Our program does not quite fit into the LORIS system because our program has 10-week semesters instead of 12-week semesters. Use the timetables on these webpages instead of printing the timetable from LORIS.

Note that half-credit courses run all semester (10 weeks) and quarter-credit courses are five weeks. Typically quarter-credit courses will run either the first five weeks or the second five weeks during the semester, appearing on the schedule to be divided by "/". So, even though two classes appear to be on the same day, time, and classroom they do not conflict.

Master of Education

The Master of Education (MEd) program consists of five required courses and three electives. Elective courses from within the Faculty of Education include courses such as leadership in education, mental health fundamentals for educational leaders, school culture and change, mathematics education research, and integrating technology and pedagogy. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage students to take at least one elective course outside of the Faculty of Education, in topics such as community capacity building, trauma and counselling, and learning and development.

See the MEd Course Offerings page for a list of courses offered and descriptions.
