Getting Involved

Laurier’s Law and Society program offers you plenty of opportunities to make your student experience unforgettable.

Student Exchange Programs

Laurier’s study abroad programs allow you to broaden your perspective and develop lasting intercultural skills needed for the 21st century. Exchange programs offer many opportunities to earn credits toward your degree, pay Laurier tuition, and study at one of Laurier’s 60 university partners all over the world.

While not an exchange program, you can as of 2016 earn a Law degree from the University of Sussex, UK as well as an Arts degree from Laurier. For more, see careers.

Law and Society Students’ Association (LSSA)

The Law and Society Students’ Association is a growing and dynamic student association that is committed to enriching student life and aiding in the professional development of the Law and Society program at Laurier. Through various social and academic events, the LSSA strives to create an inclusive and stimulating student culture for both Law and Society students and students from other programs who share an interest in socializing, networking, and questioning law’s assumptions and impacts on social life.
