MA201A: Multivariable Calculus (Fall 2017)

Calendar Description

Vector functions; differential and integral calculus of functions of several variables, including vector fields; line and surface integrals including Green's Theorem, Stokes' Theorem and the Divergence Theorem.

Prerequisites

MA122, and one of MA101, MA102, MA103 (or MA110*) or MA105 (MA104 is recommended).

Evaluation

A final mark out of 100 will be calculated as follows:

  • Online Assignments: 10%
  • Midterm Exam: 30%
  • Labs: 15%
  • Final Exam (2.5 hours, exact date and time to be announced): 45%

The final mark will be reported as a letter grade in accordance with the conversion table of the current undergraduate calendar.
