2018/19 Seasonal Flu Clinic
For Faculty, Staff and Registered Students
Influenza is a serious respiratory disease that results in time away from work or school and can cause significant health complications for some people. Ontario.ca has up-to-date information about influenza and the 2018/19 flu season. The flu shot is free for Ontario residents and anyone with provincial health insurance and UHIP. Each fall, the Student Wellness Centre holds regularly scheduled influenza immunization clinics for all Laurier students, faculty and staff.
Flu Clinics for students, faculty and staff on the Waterloo campus will be held Nov. 5, 9, 15, 20, and 21. Sign up or drop in. The clinic is running in the Wellness Education Centre, directly below the Student Wellness Centre and down the hall from Veritas Cafe.
On the Brantford campus, students can drop in or book an appointment beginning on Oct. 29, 2018.
Bring your health card or UHIP card. Wear a t-shirt. Be prepared to wait for 15 minutes after your injection.
