While the university is working remotely during COVID-19, the Career Centre will be closed for in-person service. Career Centre services are available online and the following information will assist you in accessing services. Any questions can be emailed to careercentre@wlu.ca (Waterloo/Kitchener/Toronto) or careerbrantford@wlu.ca (Brantford). While we are unable to see you in the Career Centre right now, we look forward to meeting with you online!
Online Appointments
Online or email appointments can be booked with Career Centre staff. To book an appointment, log in to Navigator, choose your home campus calendar and then book by appointment type. When you choose your appointment slot, select Online or Email. If you choose Online, the consultant will send you an email with a link to Join a Teams Meeting.

"Having the option for a virtual appointment made everything easier! I was able to get my questions answered while still remaining safe inside my house during this crazy time. The service was an excellent way to feel a sense of normalcy and still receive the help I wanted during this time.”

Career Development Certificate Online
We are offering two options for completing the Career Development Certificate - a cohort model where a small group of students will complete the certificate modules over a four-week period or the usual model where you complete each of the workshops as you are able.
Graduating Students
For students graduating in 2021 and 2022, the Career Centre is here to support you. You will receive the Graduating Student Employment Service (GSES) newsletter on Fridays with information on the supports available to you and upcoming job posting deadlines.
You can also register for the Alumni Employment Service which is a free job posting notification service where we notify you when we receive job postings that meet your job search criteria. Register today in Navigator.
Ten Thousand Coffees
In a time of when you can't network with professionals in person, we encourage you to engage in virtual networking. Laurier's Ten Thousand Coffees community is a great opportunity for you to connect with alumni to learn about their career paths and potential opportunities.
Planning for Further Education
The Career Centre is here to support you in preparing for further education applications. Read our Top Five Tips series for information on what you can be doing over the summer to prepare for applications.
