Say "yes" to access

Each February, the Accessible Learning Centre (ALC) hosts an Accessibility Awareness Campaign aimed at informing everyone in the Laurier community of ways they can support accessibility and make Laurier a more inclusive and accessible learning environment. 

Say “yes” to access is the focus of the 2023 campaign.

The 2023 weeklong campaign consists of: 

• Kick-off Feb. 6 with a takeover of the Laurier Instagram account 
• Week-long promotional posts on Laurier’s Student Success Instagram page 
• Community Resource Fair Feb. 9 

Instagram Posts

• Daily reels posted from ALC students, volunteers, staff, and faculty 
• Opportunities to participate for chances to win prizes, including a *sustainability starter kit and Laurier Swag
• Tips and resources

Community Resource Fair

Visit with various Laurier and community partners to hear how they say “yes” to accessibility. Pick up a passport at the event and enter to win a prize pack when you visit three booths and obtain signatures. Then, let us know what you learned!
