Join the #MyLaurierMoment campaign for your chance to win

We want to hear about your life as a Golden Hawk and what made your Laurier experience special. We’re asking students to send in a short video about your Laurier moment – an experience, a class, a professor, a friend, a project, a book, a team that changed your life and made your time at Laurier special.

To sweeten the deal, all participants will be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card to the Laurier Bookstore.

We want to share these inspiring stories with our incoming Golden Hawks to help them get excited for the coming school year this fall.

Creating Your Video

Your video should be short and sweet! Here are some tips to help you record:

• Consider your lighting, background and surroundings.
• Film near natural light, if possible, or in front of a blank wall.
• Beware of the wind if you film outside.
• Wear your Laurier gear.
• Film yourself horizontally.

Make sure to introduce yourself (name, year and program) and start your story with “#MyLaurierMoment was ...”
