Bookstore closed April 26 to May 8

There’s something new coming! The Bookstore is excited to share that over the past few months we have been working towards launching the new, modern e-commerce and retail software system for Waterloo, Brantford, and online stores. This new solution will offer an improved user experience and interface for the Laurier community.

As part of the retirement of the previous system and go-live of the new software, as well as the annual inventory process, the physical Bookstore stores and online retail website will be closed from Wednesday, April 26 to Monday, May 8, 2023 to allow for a smooth transition to the new system. This means that in-store purchases and online ordering will not be available during this period. The website will be unavailable, and the physical stores will be closed in Waterloo and Brantford. All Bookstore locations will reopen for operations on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 for the start of the spring term.

Important Dates

• April 26 to 30: Bookstore retail and online stores closed for annual inventory count.
• May 1 to 8: Bookstore retail and online stores closed to allow for a smooth transition to the new system.
• May 9: Bookstore retail and online stores reopen for regular operations.
