Message to Laurier community

As we approach the week of October 7, we are deeply aware of the continued distressing news from the Middle East and the impact it is having on many members in the Laurier community.

At times like this, it is important we extend compassion and care for one another. Many members of our Laurier community have personal ties to the region and in the last year have expressed their pain and fear for loved ones. Be kind to one another during this very difficult time.

We encourage any student who feels unsafe, or needs support, to access the variety of university supports and spaces available.

Thank you for extending to each other care and compassion during this time.
