Working with Local Non-Profits
The students from our Professionalization Seminar class (HR300) had the opportunity to work in teams to write grant applications for local non-profits that are funded by the City of Brantford and adjudicated by the Brant Community Foundation. The CEO of the Brant Community Foundation, Anne Marie, came to the class to help understand the roles that community foundations play in cities and towns across the country and to help the students understand how the adjudication process works so that they can write better grant applications.
