    Calendar Description

    Vector functions; differential and integral calculus of functions of several variables, including vector fields; line and surface integrals including Green's Theorem, Stokes' Theorem and the Divergence Theorem.

    Prerequisites

    MA122, and one of MA101, MA103. MA104 is recommended.

    Exclusions

    MA200.

    J. Stewart: Calculus (Early Transcendentals), 8th Edition, Brooks/Cole.

    Calculators

    Students may only use the approved calculator, Casio FX-300MS Plus required in labs, on the midterm test and the final examination. It is available for purchase at the campus bookstore. No other calculator is allowed.

    Evaluation

    A final mark out of 100 will be calculated as follows:


    • WeBWorK Assignments: 10%
    • Lab Assignments: 15%
    • Midterm Exam (Tuesday, June 25, 2020 from  1:30 p.m-2:50 p.m : 30%
    • Final Exam (2.5 hours; exact date, time and location to be announced): 45%

    The final mark will be reported as a letter grade in accordance with the conversion table of the current undergraduate calendar.
