Calendar Description
Elements of Euclidean geometry emphasizing the axiomatic approach; geometric shapes and measurements; Euler line and nine point circle; straightedge and compass constructions; transformations in Euclidean geometry; notions of non-Euclidean geometries.

Evaluation
A final mark out of 100 will be calculated as follows:
- Assignments: 15%
- Midterm Tests (25% of the higher mark + 10% of the lower): 35%
Test 1 (Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, in class)
Test 2 (Tentative: Tuesday, March 26, 2019, in class) - Final Exam (2.5 hours, exact date, time and location to be announced): 50%
Students must achieve a score of at least 40% of the marks available on the final examination to be eligible to pass the course. The final mark will be reported as a letter grade in accordance with the conversion table of the current undergraduate calendar.
