Tuition Fees

Find a comprehensive breakdown of tuition fees at Laurier. 

All tables on the page show the 2024/25 tuition rates by your entering year, effective Spring 2024. All fees are per term unless otherwise noted.

These schedules are for information and reference purposes only and can be subject to change without notice. Students are responsible for all fees assessed on their statement of billings.

Domestic Undergraduate Students

Tuition and incidental fees are charged based on your year of entry and the number of courses in which you are registered.

Domestic Graduate Students

Master's and doctoral students will be charged full- or part-time tuition based on their status at the time of admission. Students who successfully petition to change their registration status may have their tuition fees adjusted as a result. Incidental fees will be charged according to a student's registration status in a particular term.

Notes:

  • Fees classified as non-funded: Programs for which Laurier as an institution does not receive government funding. As a result, these programs are not eligible for any exemption benefit programs (including tuition waiver and senior exemption benefit) or OSAP funding.
  • Graduate students can apply to the graduate student tuition payment plan each term.

  • All international undergraduate students are required to pay a tuition deposit. The tuition deposit is not an additional fee; the amount will be applied to your first-term tuition balance once you enrol in courses and your invoice is issued.
  • International students in any of these programs are not eligible for any exemption benefit programs (including tuition waiver and senior exemption benefit) or OSAP funding.

Jay Treaty   

Wilfrid Laurier University honours the Jay Treaty 1794 by offering Native American students from the continental United States domestic tuition rates.  To qualify, students must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate program at Laurier and have validated their indigenous identity with Indigenous Initiatives.  

Once confirmed, students will be eligible for the domestic tuition for the entirety of their studies at Laurier.  The application of domestic rates will begin as of the term when the validation by Indigenous Initiatives takes place.
