Position Title: Vice President of Training Services

Position Summary:
The Vice President of Training Services is responsible for directing and overseeing the training function of the Prism Resources Program at both the Waterloo and Brantford campuses. This includes developing and implementing processes designed to improve performance of existing services and introduction of new opportunities. Vice President of Training works closely with the Marketing Coordinator, Lazaridis Financial Administrator and Lazaridis School faculty members to promote the training courses and to engage into new partnerships that will bring value to Prism members.
Position Title: Training Manager/Instructor

Position Summary:
This is a dual role, supporting the Training Services Department. The Training Manager is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Training Services in running the training department such that all operational activities will meet the demands of the Prism member base. The Training Manager fulfills these responsibilities in addition to serving as Instructor.
NOTE: You must be a current instructor with Prism Resources or apply and be selected for an instructor role in the same term, to be able to carry out the job responsibilities related to this dual role (Note: Finance Instructor is excluded).
Position Title: Training Manager/Finance Instructor

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Prism Resources brand to over 3000 students each term. The coordinator will collaborate with relevant parties to ensure that each project gets the resources and attention needed to be successful, and that each project is completed on time and within budget. Under the guidance of the President, the Marketing Coordinator develops and implements marketing campaigns through various channels, maintains inventory of promotional materials, and manages all of Prism Resources’ communication channels.
Position Title: Marketing Instructor

Position Summary:
The Marketing Instructor is responsible for teaching the Figma, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Digital Marketing classes to Prism Resources members on a weekly to bi-weekly basis. The instructor is expected to thoroughly understand and teach the predetermined module(s) to the class, while consistently monitoring the course content to ensure that all concepts are in alignment with industry standards. Training solutions must be tailored to fit participants' needs, and the instructor must deliver the modules in a way that can be understood by members with varying levels of familiarity with the content. The Marketing Instructor is expected to improve existing modules as well as research and develop new course content, attend regular meetings, and participate in other projects to improve the Prism program.
Position Title: Microsoft Software Instructor

The Microsoft Office Instructor is responsible for teaching the Microsoft Suite to Prism Resources members with varying degrees of knowledge. The instructor is expected to thoroughly understand and teach the predetermined module(s) to the class, while consistently monitoring the course content to ensure that all concepts are in alignment with industry standards. Training solutions have to be tailored to fit the participants’ needs.
Position Title: Acounting Instructor

The Accounting Instructor is responsible for teaching accounting theory and software to Prism Resources members with varying degrees of knowledge. The instructor is expected to thoroughly understand and teach the predetermined module(s) to the class, while consistently monitoring the course content to ensure that all concepts are in alignment with industry standards. Training solutions have to be tailored to fit the participants’ needs.
Position Title: Finance Instructor (3 Positions)

The Finance Instructor is responsible for teaching Bloomberg and Capital IQ to Prism Resources members with varying degrees of knowledge. The instructor is expected to thoroughly understand and teach the predetermined module(s) to the class, while consistently monitoring the course content to ensure that all concepts are in alignment with industry standards. Training solutions have to be tailored to fit the participants' needs.
Position Title: Member Services Representative (3 Positions)

Position Summary:
As the face of Prism Resources, Member Services Representatives are responsible to rent out equipment, register members for training courses and ensure that members always have a positive experience when using Prism Resources services. They address member inquiries, questions and concerns, receive, respond to and redirect members’ telephone calls or emails, provide available information upon request and investigate or escalate issues as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality per Wilfrid Laurier University policies and guidelines. Member Services Representatives work under moderate supervision and are responsible to collect, record and reconcile payments.
