2SLGBTQ+ Care at the Student Wellness Centre

We welcome and support students of diverse backgrounds. Our services include general medical care inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities, referrals for surgery, gender confirming hormone therapy, LGTBQ+ positive sex education, and mental health support. We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for general health care, counselling, and wellness education that is inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Our service includes:

• respectful use of preferred names and pronouns
• gender-affirming hormone therapy (feminizing and masculinizing) initiation, continuation, maintenance, and monitoring
• coordination of care and referrals (including initiation of hormones and reassignment surgery)
• counselling and mental health supports
• appropriate preventative health care and screening (PAP tests, prostate, chest/breast exams, STI, and more)
• LGTBQ+ positive sex education
• accessible, private, single use restroom
