2023 Seasonal Flu Shots on Campus

    Nov. 1, 2023
    Print | PDF

Influenza is a serious respiratory disease that results in time away from work or school and can cause significant health complications for some people.  Ontario.ca has up-to-date information about influenza and the 2023/24 flu season.  The flu shot is free for Ontario residents and anyone with provincial health insurance or UHIP.

Now that the November immunization clinics are over, registered students who still need their flu shots are welcome to drop in or call to schedule an appoinmtment with the nurse.  The SWC will not offer COVID-19 vaccinations in the clinic.

Faculty and staff who missed the campus clinics and students who want a COVID-19 immunization should make an appointment at a local pharmacy.

Don’t forget to bring your health card, wear a t-shirt, and plan to wait for 15 minutes after your injection.
