StartUp Lab, Laurier's incubator in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, provides support, mentorship and resources to startups and social ventures founded by Laurier students, and alumni at the Waterloo campus.
Whether you have tested your idea through Laurier's innovative curriculum and co-curricular experiences, or if it's still an untested idea, you can apply to StartUp Lab to bring your idea to life.
StartUp Lab provides dedicated workspace at no cost for Laurier startups. The StartUp Lab space is located in Lazaridis Hall.

Yes, to be accepted into the StartUp Lab, at minimum, you must have a clear concept of both the product (good or service) you want to bring to market and your business model.
Entry is competitive so the more developed your idea is the better.
Laurier students and alumni are eligible to apply to StartUp Lab. You may have supporting team members from other institutions or from the community at large.
Being a part of StartUp Lab will provide you with access to our vast network of experienced entrepreneurs and mentors who can guide you through the process of building your business. StartUp Lab startups have access to our workspace available in Lazaridis Hall.
