HE340A Instructional Assistant

Position Posting - Instructional Assistant (IA) – HE 340: Human Anatomy II.

One instructional assistant is required for HE340: Human Anatomy II (Fall/2021 term).  HE 340 takes a systematic approach to the anatomical study of the human integumentary, respiratory, lymphatic, autonomic, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems.

Duties

The IA will assist in:

• answering student emails
• aiding students in learning the course materials
• proctoring examinations and
• Grading assignments and examinations and providing constructive feedback on how to improve on future assignments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will have a passion for the subject area, be excellent communicators, and demonstrate strong leadership skills in facilitating learning objectives. Successful completion of the course (or equivalent) with a minimum grade of A is required in order for your application to be considered.  

Hours of work

A total of 65 hours to be worked between September 6, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

Rate of pay

$21.70/hour when fourth-year undergraduate

$20.60/hour when third-year undergraduate
