Psychology Override Form (Waterloo)

This form is for Waterloo students who are requesting a prerequisite, major or year-level override for Psychology courses in the Faculty of Science.

Normally, the Psychology Department does not waive course prerequisites. Exceptions are made only for courses requiring UU150 (for students who started a Laurier program in 2015/16 or before) or when students have the prerequisite course(s) as transfer credits or equivalent Laurier courses.

The completion of this form does not guarantee entry into a course. Each request will be considered by the Psychology program assistant and Psychology undergraduate advisors.

You are required to complete a separate form for each request. During the fall and winter semesters, this form might not be processed until the week before the last day to add class, in order to ensure students who require the course for graduation have registered.

If you have questions about degree requirements, course prerequisites, or your current year level, contact psychadvising@wlu.ca or 519.884.0710.x3665.

If you have any questions about completing the form, contact the Psychology Program Assistant Kim Susanna.
