Definitions
All students will be assigned to both a lecture section and lab for each of BU111 in fall and BU121 in winter. Students will also be registered in a section of BU127 in either fall or winter. You do not need to register yourself in these classes.
BU111, BU121, and BU127 registration cannot be changed at any time.
Students are responsible for registering in all other first-year courses on LORIS.

2.0 elective credits (four courses) are required in Year 1.
The first attempt of all required BU courses must be completed in-class and on-campus (not online/virtual(VA, VS, VH, WH, WF sections).
First attempts at BU111 and BU121 must be completed by the end of wwinter term.
EC120 is available in class only in the fall. EC140 is available in class only in the winter. Taking the EC courses during the terms stated is recommended. Students in any BBA or Double Degree program must register accordingly.
All year 1 requirements must be completed by Aug. 31 including successful completion of 5.0 credits, a minimum combined GPA of 7.0 (B-) in all BU courses and minimum combined GPA of 5.0 (C) in all non-BU courses, and an overall minimum combined GPA of 5.0 (C). A maximum of 1.0 credit may be repeated in year 1 (September-August) to meet progression.
100-level non-BU electives may be taken throughout the BBA program. There is no year-level requirement and no 100-level limit on non-BBA electives for BBA students.

Management Option requires a minimum combined GPA of 6.0 in BU111 and BU127 to proceed in the Option. The Management Option also requires a minimum GPA of 5.0 in one of EC120 or EC140. The Management Option allows a maximum of 2 repeats across the Option courses.
The Diploma in Business Administration has been designed to meet the needs of people with work experience in business or government who wish to enhance their skills in the functional areas of administration.
The program is made up of 6.0 credits (5.0 required and 1.0 elective). Courses are offered both online and on-campus. Students may choose the preferred delivery method of each course, pending availability each term. The program is normally completed on a part-time basis but can be completed full-time and will take at least two terms to complete, subject to course availability.

To earn an Honours Degree, you will need to complete 20.0 credits:
If you are studying part-time, you can take up to 1.5 credits per term. Full-time status is given to students who take 2.0 or 2.5 credits per term.
If you select 2.5 credits in the fall term and 2.5 credits in the winter term, you can complete an Honours Degree in four years.
