The Department of Communication Studies frequently hires outstanding fourth-year students as Instructional Assistants (IAs) for our 100-level courses.
IAs attend lectures, prepare and lead weekly tutorials, hold office hours, meet with the course instructor, communicate with students in their tutorials, proctor exams as well as mark assignments, exams and final essays.
Students hired for instructional assistantships:
IAs work closely with faculty members and receive significant mentorship and training.
