Spring ceremonies for the class of 2022 will be hosted:

Additional ceremonies to celebrate the classes of 2020 and 2021 will be hosted:

Only those graduates that filled out the "Expression of Interest" form will receive an invitation to attend their 2020/2021 stage crossing celebration.

Should Public Health guidelines change, and we are unable to safely host the graduates and their guests, the university is prepared to resume virtual recognition.

Safety Protocols

Laurier's Face-Covering Policy will be in effect at the time of the event: 

  • Graduates will be permitted to remove masks when crossing the stage.
  • Graduates and guests will be permitted to remove masks in designated photo areas.

Passive symptom screening is recommended prior to arrival.

Students with Combined Majors

Students with combined majors will be assigned a ceremony based on their first alphabetical major.

  • Faculty of Arts: Women and Gender Studies is a combined major that will be awarded at each of the Faculty of Arts ceremonies under the first major.
  • Graduate Studies students will be aligned with the respective undergraduate programs as noted below.
  • Double degree students (BBA/BA and BBA/BSc) have the option to choose which faculty ceremony they wish to attend.

For guests who are unable to attend the ceremony in person, a livestream on Laurier Live will be available approximately 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
