For all students planning to join the Laurier community in Fall 2025, this session will answer all your questions about transitioning from high school to university, registering with Accessible Learning, making the most of academic accommodations and other supports.

GOAL

After meeting with an Accessible Learning consultant, we will connect you with GOAL. 

GOAL is designed to orient students with disabilities to Laurier and is available to all incoming students with disabilities registered with Accessible Learning. 

You do not need to participate in GOAL to register with Accessible Learning.  However, we strongly encourage all students to complete GOAL to help them prepare for learning with academic accommodations at Laurier.

GOAL is delivered through MyLearningSpace. It is made up of various content sections that you can complete at your own pace and refer to during the year. The content sections include:

• What does Accessible Learning do?
• How do I...? How to videos
• Course help & skill building
• Additional Laurier supports & campus "need to knows"

You can access GOAL and all of its resources throughout the year. Even if you register later in the academic year, you will be given access to GOAL.
