Graduate Programs

Laurier’s Department of Geography and Environmental Studies offers graduate training in a wide range of topics in human geography, physical geography, geomatics, environmental science, environmental management, and sustainability science. Our students learn from and work with faculty members who are leading researchers in their respective fields, and in doing so acquire labour-market ready skills that enhance their career prospects.

Our graduate degree options include Master of Science (MSc) in Geography, Master of Arts (MA) in Geography, Master of Environmental Studies (MES) in Geography (with an option to do an MES in Environmental Data Analytics), and PhD in Geography.
