Residence tours are offered each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1:30 p.m., departing from the Residence Office. Tours will begin on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The last date for tours will be Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024.
Tours last approximately one hour and three residence styles are shown:
On the designated tour day arrive at the Residence Office just prior to the departure time.
Our office is located in the King Street Residence (200 King St. N, Waterloo). The entrance to the office is at the north end of the building, closest to the Campus Crossing plaza).
Parking is available in the King Street Residence parking garage, which can be accessed off Regina St. between 209 Regina and 205 Regina St. North. Signs in the parking garage indicate that you require a blue parking permit, but tickets will not be issued to individuals parking in the garage while they participate in the residence tour as long as the vehicle has been registered upon arrival to the Residence Office.
Please bring your vehicle information including Licence Plate number with you to the Residence Office. Upon arrival, you will be required to submit an online form to register your vehicle to ensure that you do not receive a ticket while participating in the residence tour.

Ezra-Bricker Student Apartments is a great resource for upper year students who are looking for rental accommodations. This resource includes a number of properties located close to the Waterloo campus, which are owned by Laurier but managed by Campus Living Centres.

The Department of Residence is accountable to provincial legislation, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), which dictates how the university collects, uses and discloses personal information. Under FIPPA, university staff and faculty are prohibited from discussing, changing or divulging a student’s personal information with anyone other than the student. As such, staff will need to speak directly with the student about any concerns unless written permission is received from the student granting us permission to speak to a parent or guardian.
Please ensure that your parents and other individuals who may contact our office on your behalf are aware that Department of Residence staff will not be able to discuss any specific information about your room assignment or any concerns that may emerge during your time in residence (i.e. involvement in the conduct process, extension requests, restitution costs, etc.).
