Apply for Residence for the 2024/25 Academic Year

The online residence application for the 2024/25 academic year (September to April) will launch in mid April.

All first-year students with an offer of admission will be emailed important information about the residence application process as soon as the application is available.

At the time that the application launches, student accounts within the online residence portal will be activated so that students are able to log in.

The deadline to submit your completed residence application, together with payment of the $600 non-refundable residence deposit, is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Learn more about our housing options, residence styles and residence buildings. No matter what building you're placed in, you'll find your fit and place in the Laurier community. 

Residence tours are offered each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1:30 pm, departing from the Residence Office. These tours typically start in mid May. The start date will be posted as soon as it has been finalized.

Tours last approximately one hour and three residence styles are shown:

  • dormitory-style, semi-private – King Street Residence
  • dormitory-style, traditional, shared double room – Bouckaert Hall
  • apartment-style, premium, single room – Bricker Residence

On the designated tour day arrive at the Residence Office just prior to the departure time. Our office is located in the King Street Residence (200 King St. N, Waterloo). The entrance to the office is at the north end of the building, closest to the Campus Crossing plaza). 

Parking is available in the King Street Residence parking garage, which can be accessed off Regina St. between 209 Regina and 205 Regina St. North. Signs in the parking garage indicate that you require a blue parking permit, but tickets will not be issued to individuals parking in the garage while they participate in the residence tour.

  • Expositor Place
  • Grand River Hall, single and shared double rooms

On the designated tour day, arrive at the Residence Office just prior to the departure time. Our office is room 222, Grand River Hall main floor (171 Colborne Street, Brantford). After you enter the building, walk to the left past the elevators.

Make the most out of your first year by getting involved – you'll make a difference at Laurier and in the larger community, build skills, gain valuable experiences, grow personally and academically, and make new friends.

The application deadline for our Residence Learning Communities (RLC) and Learning Clusters (LC) is June 1.

Students studying on the Waterloo campus may also wish to visit Ezra-Bricker Student Apartments to assist in their search for off-campus rental accommodations. Ezra-Bricker Student Apartments have a number of properties that are close to the campus and are owned by Laurier, but are managed by Campus Living Centres.
