Co-op students accumulate 12 to 16 months of practical work experience through three to four work terms of four months each and graduate within five years. Laurier's double degree programs are accredited by CEWIL, Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada.
Business (BBA) and Computer Science (BSc) double degree
Business (BBA) and Financial Mathematics (BA) double degree
Students enrolled in their second year of double degree programs, where both programs are at Laurier,
may choose to accept admission to co-op. Students in the Business and Computer Science and Business and Financial Mathematics double degree programs begin their first four-month work term in the spring term of Year 2.
Laurier students enrolled in their second year of double degree programs where one program is at the the University of Waterloo must enrol in co-op. Students in the Business and Computer Science and Business and Mathematics double degree programs begin their first four-month work term in the winter term of Year 2.
Undergraduate co-op students in double degree programs receive academic credit for participating in co-op. To obtain the co-op designation on your transcript you need to pass the co-op fundamentals course, receive a rating of at least satisfactory on each work term report and receive a rating of at least satisfactory on each performance evaluation.
Students take business courses at Laurier and computer science courses at the University of Waterloo. All students in the program begin to participate in co-op in their second year, and most pursue work terms in the fall and winter. Students complete both degrees within five years.

Participants in the double degree program in Business Administration and Financial Mathematics gain a sound understanding of business management and practices, and knowledge of mathematical models and computational methods used in business, industry and government. Students enrolled in their second year of this program may choose to accept automatic admission to co-op.

In addition to the progression requirements for the Honours BBA, students in the Business and Financial Mathematics double degree program take the following courses:
Students in the double-degree program in Business Administration and Mathematics take business courses at Laurier and math courses at the University of Waterloo. In senior years, students may specialize in Actuarial Science; Applied Mathematics, Combinatorics and Optimization; Mathematical Finance; Operations Research; Pure Mathematics; or Statistics.
All students in the double degree programs at Laurier and Waterloo begin to participate in co-op in their second year. Students complete both degrees within five years. Most Laurier students complete their first and second work terms during the winter and their third during the fall. In addition to the business courses shown in the Honours BBA chart, students in the Business and Mathematics double degree program take the following courses:
