ADVISING AVAILABILITY

Academic advisors are currently working both in the office and remotely. We are unable to provide phone advising at this time. In-person and online meetings may be booked below. Drop-in advising is available once per week, based on the schedule available posted on the BBA Program Information Page in MyLS. The drop-in schedule is also posted at LH2058. We ask that all email inquiries for the advisors in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics be sent via a student's mylaurier or uwaterloo email to bbaadvising@wlu.ca or econadvising@wlu.ca. Students can also find program information on the BBA Program Information page or the WLU Economics Program Information page on MyLearningSpacePlease include your 9-digit Laurier student ID number with all inquiries.

Booking Policy

Registration requests will be handled by email only.

Appointments can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Appointments cannot be cancelled or rescheduled less than 12 hours before the originally scheduled time. If a student needs to cancel their appointment with less than 12 hours notice, please contact LazaridisUGoffice@wlu.ca. During certain times of year when the advisors are in high demand, our office may have to cancel your appointment and block off time for administrative maintenance. It is up to the student to reschedule this appointment.

When booking an appointment, students should only select the appointment type related to their inquiry. For example, a BBA student booking an Economics Advising appointment in order to bypass the BBA appointment queue and ask a question about a BBA course is considered exploiting the system and will result in that student being excluded from the online booking system.

Students who cannot attend their scheduled appointment must cancel their appointment through the booking system. This can be accomplished by following the instructions in your appointment confirmation email or by sending an email to LazaridisUGoffice@wlu.ca including your reason for cancelling your appointment.

Students that fail to show up for their appointment and do not cancel will be excluded from the online booking system after their second missed appointment.
