If you are interested in carpooling, you may be able to find a carpooling group through TravelWise. This is an online ride-matching service for Waterloo Region. It makes it simple to find a carpool for regular commuting or one-off trips. Each TravelWise member organization has its own Carpool Zone site where employees can create a carpool profile.

Searching for a match is quick and easy; visit TravelWise to begin your search. It's as easy at 1-2-3-4:

  1. Visit Laurier's Private Student Carpool Network.
  2. Click "Register to Join."
  3. Sign up using Facebook or use your email address.
  4. Search for carpool trips as a passenger or post your own trip as a driver and let others find you.

Carpool permits are only valid for your designated carpool space on your designated campus. If you are required to travel to an alternate campus, you will have to use meters or pay and display lots. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted in carpool spaces.

Student Carpool Lottery

PLEASE NOTE; we have SOLD OUT of Carpool permits for the 2019-20 School year.

All students are eligible to apply for a carpool parking permit. A carpool parking permit ensures you a reserved parking spot at the RAC lot, which is a central campus parking lot.

For the cost of a carpool parking permit, see Parking Fees.

To apply for the carpool lottery, complete the Carpool Permit Application Form (Brantford) for each member of the group (a minimum of two people to a maximum of four people.)

There are no carpool permits for Faculty of Social Work students in Kitchener.

If you are interested in signing up for a carpool, see the Travelwise Private Laurier Student Carpool Tool information at the top of the page.
