Appointments and Fees

To book an appointment, call the Waterloo Student Wellness Centre at 519.884.0710 x3146

In response to public health protocols due to COVID-19, most in-person appointments and all unscheduled visits have been suspended for the 2020/21 academic year.  To book a remote appointment with a counsellor or a doctor, or to speak with a nurse, please call ahead.

A limited number of same-day appointments with the on-call doctor are available each day for students with acute illness and unpredictable concerns.  In place of our usual walk-in clinic, students are asked to call as early as possible to be scheduled a remote appointment with the doctor later that day.

A limited number of same-day "WIT" appointments are available with counsellors each day (over the phone) for students who are not in crisis but feel they need to speak with someone that day.  These appointments are scheduled on a "first come, first serve" basis, so please call early.  If you are in crisis, please tell us when you call, so we can schedule you promptly.

In order to book appointments appropriately, the reception team will require some basic information about your presenting concern.
