Laurier students, and University of Waterloo students, can take courses at the respective institutions through cross-registration.
Laurier undergraduate students are able to take courses at the UW through cross-registration.
Note: BBA/BMath and BBA/BCS students do not use the cross-registration process. See course matching below for more information.
Note: The course equivalency must come from the department of the course you are requesting. For example, if you are requesting to take a Math course, your course equivalency must come from the Math department
If you receive approval and meet the above requirements, complete the Cross-Registration Form.
Note: The Department of Languages and Literatures will approve the following courses: French, Spanish, German, Italian and Arabic. All other language courses do not require a Languages and Literatures advisor signature (e.g. Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Chinese). Email records@wlu.ca with further questions.

The Laurier registration system is LORIS and the UW registration system is Quest. Students of the BBA/BMath and BBA/BCS programs have access to both registration systems. You must match your registrations on LORIS and Quest each academic term throughout the program.
For years 1 to 3, the BU courses are assigned as an integrated set on LORIS and cannot be changed. For years 4 and 5, registration in the applicable BU core courses is at your discretion using LORIS.
You are only officially registered in a Laurier course and section as it appears on LORIS. Changing your registration in a Laurier course on Quest does not hold true (not official).
Any change must occur first on LORIS within all posted Laurier academic dates for the term. Quest must then be used to match the registration change completed on LORIS.

Open LORIS and select “Register for Classes”.
Select the appropriate “Term” and “Search” by subject.

Sign in to Quest and select the Enroll tile.
Select the Add tab and if prompted select the term, then Continue.
Use the Search button to find classes.
